Our patterns of thought are subjective and personal. They make up our own world deviating from reality. Let’s assume your manager questions your paradigms. Naturally, you defend them. Because your own world is always the “RIGHT” one for oneself.
Keep that in mind when a discussion at work seems to lead nowhere. When you feel that two stand points are worlds apart or when others’ actions don’t reflect what you’ve expected.
No wonder, our thoughts are created through our experience, what we’ve learned and how we were raised resulting in our words and actions. Just like our path is individual, our thoughts are too.
Take a moment to analyze, maybe you already have a situation in mind relating to this topic. Find out what the person’s pattern of thought could be that’s the driving force behind.
